McGETTRICK'S. AKA and see "Spindleshanks (2)." Irish, Reel. G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AB (Black): AABB (Taylor). The title references whistle player James McGettrick (1909-98), from Acras, Ballymote in County Sligo, who is the source for the tune, first recorded under the "McGettrick" title by James Kelly and Paddy O'Brien in 1978.
