REEL DES OISEAUX. French-Canadian, Reel. D Major (‘A’ and ‘B’ parts), D Minor (‘C’ part) & A Major (‘D’ and ‘E’ parts). Standard tuning (fiddle). AABCDE. Perhaps the same "Reel des oiseaux" recorded by Les Tune-Up Boys, Maurice Bougie and Gaston Tessier, whose hey-day as performers was in the 1950's and '60's. The duo went by different names until adopting Les Tune-Up Boys in 1951.
