CUDDY HUNK. American, Hornpipe. G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. The title may refer to Cutty Hunk (sometimes called Cuddy Hunk), located at the southwestern tip of the Elizabeth Islands, about 14 miles south of New Bedford, Massachusetts. Cutty Hunk was, in the 19th century, home to many whaling captains.
