COLONEL SMALL'S STRATHSPEY. Scottish, Strathspey (cut time). F Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. The strathspey was printed by John Gow in his . It also appears under this title in a small volume printed in Dublin by Edmund Lee entitled Mrs. Parker's Selection of Scotch Tunes, Strathspey and Reels (no date), which appears to be a reprint of a portion of the Gow volume. See also the derivative Irish reel in Canon John Goodman's 19th century music manuscript as "Favourite Reel (1) (A)."
