O'CONNOR'S FAVORITE (Roga Uí Concobair). Irish, Hornpipe (cut time). D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. The tune appears as an untitled hornpipe in Eias Howe's Musician's Companion (1842) and Patrick O'Flannagan's 1860 collection, published in Boston by Elias Howe ('Patrick O'Flannagan' was a pseudonym for Howe himself). See also the related "Woods of Kilkenny."
