MAY DAY [2] (Bealltaine). AKA and see "Bealltaine," "Broadway (The)," "Dinny O'Brien's Hornpipe," "Mullingar Races (2)," "Phil Durkin's Favorite," "Shaskeen (The)." Irish, Hornpipe. G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AB. Dublin uilleann piper William Andrews recorded the hornpipe under the "May Day" title in London in 1928. In addition to the uilleann pipes, Andrews played the Irish Warpipes (Greatpipes).

Source for notated version : - "From Mr. P. Joyce, Learnt from his father" (presumably when P.W. Joyce was a boy, in Limerick 1840's) [Stanford/Petrie].
