'TIS ALL FOR THE LOVE OF THE WIDOW. American, Air (6/8 time). D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). One part. " 'Tis all for the love of the widow" is a courtship ballad, "adapted and arranged" by James Hunter and published in Baltimore in 1845 by F.D. Benteen. The original sheet music is available in the Lester S. Levy Sheet Music Collection [1].
