McDONALD'S RANT. English, Reel (cut time). G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. A version of the tune was entered into the music manuscript collection of Cumbrian musician Matthew Betham. It was reworked in John Offord's 2018 volume to make it more playable.
