BEINN A' GHLÒ HUNT, THE. Scottish, "The Beinn a' Ghlò Hunt" was composed by gamekeeper and fiddler-composer John Crerar, and is named for Beinn a' Ghlò, a mountain north east of Blair Atholl in the Forest of Atholl in between Glen Tilt and Glen Loch. The forest was a favorite deer forest of Crerar's employer, John Murray, 4th Duke of Atholl.
