It appears under the "Bob in the Bed" title in John Johnson's 1744 collection (see below), David Rutherford's Compleat Collection of 200 of the Most Celebrated Country Dances (1756), John Walsh's Fourth Book of the Compleat Country Dancing-Master (1747), and the American Village Fifer (Exeter, N.H., 1808).
