CORRIEGILLS. Scottish, Strathspey. A Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB'. The strathspey was composed by biography:Carl Volti, born Archibald Milligan in Glasgow in 1849. Volti, a fiddler, composed many tunes found in the Kerr's collections and published several tutors, albums of popular songs, national overtures, etc. [Nigel Gatherer]. Corriegills is a village on the Isle of Arran, second largest of the Inner Hebrides.
