CRAZY JACK. AKA and see "Lord Alexander's Reel." Canadian, Reel (cut time). Canada, Cape Breton (Acadian). D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AB.  "Crazy Jack" was an untitled tune in the repertoires of several Acadian fiddlers from Cape Breton Island, including Joseph Larade, Joe Cormier (ChĂ©ticamp, north Cape Breton), and Joe Confiant. However, the melody is a version of the 20th century 'Down East' tune called "Lord Alexander's Reel," composed as a 'straight' (regular eight-bar measures) dance tune by Abbie Andrews of St. Catharine's, Ontario.
