"Goelic Park" was composed by Terry "Cuz" Teahan (1905–1989), originally from Glountane, south County Kerry, who spent many years in Chicago, Illinois, a long-time employee of Illinois Central. There are Gaelic Parks in Chicago and the Bronx, New York, that are venues for athletic, dance and cultural events, as well as meetings and banquets.
