GEORGIA ROW. AKA and see "Walk Up Georgia Row," "Walking Down the Georgia Road," "Coon Dog (2)." Old-Time. USA, Northeastern Ky. A Major. AEae tuning (fiddle). The reel is similar to the well-known "Angeline the Baker." "Sammie Walker's Georgia Road" is a different tune with a similar title. A distanced version in the key of 'D' was repertoire of Russell County, Virginia, fiddler Uncle Charlie Osborne, albeit in the key of 'D' (the exact nature of the relationship of the two versions has yet to be determined).
