HORNPIPE [50]. Irish, Hornpipe. This untitled hornpipe was entered into Book 3 of the c. 1883 music manuscript collection of County Leitrim fiddler and piper biography:Stephen Grier. Researchers Fr. John Quinn and Conor Ward find the tune a member of the "Lark on the Strand (3)," "Logier's," "Loegier's Hornpipe" and "Old Irish Hornpipe (The)" family of tunes.
