HUMORS OF DONNYBROOK [1]. AKA and see "Boss (The)," "Old Horned Sheep (The)," "One-Horned Sheep," "Pet in the Kitchen (The)." Irish, Double Jig. A Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. See note for "Boss (The)," the title by which the tune is printed in Ryan's Mammoth Collection (1883). O'Neill gives the tune as "Old Horned Sheep (The)", set in 'G' major. "Humors of Donnybrook" is one tune played for the Scottish Country Dance "The River Cree", as published in Christine Martin's Ceol na Fidhle, Vol. 4 (1991, p. 46) (There are other jigs played for the dance as well, though sets usually start with "Jackson's Bottle of Claret").
