JENNY DANG THE WEAVER [3]. AKA - "Jenny bank/bang the weaver." Irish(?), Reel. D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. A reel of unknown provenance. A version of the tune was entered into the mid-19th century music manuscript collection of Canon James Goodman (County Cork) under the title "Jenny bank the weaver." It was also entered into the c. 1883 music manuscript collection of County Leitrim piper and fiddler Stephen Grier (c. 1824-1894) as "Jenny Bang the Weaver."
