JENNY DANG THE WEAVER [3]. AKA - "Jenny bank/bang the weaver." Irish(?), Reel. D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. A reel of unknown provenance. A version of the tune was entered into the mid-19th century music manuscript collection of Canon biography:James Goodman (County Cork) under the title "Jenny bank the weaver." It was also entered into the c. 1883 music manuscript collection of County Leitrim piper and fiddler biography:Stephen Grier (c. 1824-1894) as "Jenny Bang the Weaver."
