LADY SCOTT'S REEL [1]. Scottish, Reel. B Flat Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AAB. Composed by Borders fiddler-composer John Pringle (c. 1770-c. 1807), who dedicated his second collection to Lady Scott of Ancrum (nee Harriet Graham). See Lady Scott’s Strathspey for more. Pringle wrote several tunes for members of the family (see also "Miss Scott of Ancrum’s Reel," "Mr. John Scott's Reel," "Miss H. Scott’s Strathspey,".
