LITTLE JACK'S REEL. AKA and see "Charlie's Brother." Canadian, Reel. Canada; Cape Breton, Prince Edward Island. E Dorian. Standard tuning (fiddle). AAB. The tune was recorded in the 1930's by Cape Breton-raised fiddler Little Jack MacDonald (who spent much of his life in Ontario). Perlman (1996) identifies the 'A' part as being the same as the Scottish strathspey "Mrs. Ramsay of Barnton (2)."
