Irish, Reel. Ireland; Donegal, Fermanagh. D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AAâBCD (Taylor): AA'BB'CC'D (Breathnach). A popular reel in County Donegal, also found in the music manuscript collection of Fermanagh fiddler John Gunn, c. 1865. However, it's popularity was not limited to those regions and was played throughout Britain and Ireland under a variety of titles and name variants.
