MISS SITWELL. AKA - "Miss Sitwell's Strathspey." Scottish, Slow Strathspey. B Flat Major (Gow): D Major (Aird). Standard tuning (fiddle). AB (Aird, Athole, Gow): AAB (Skye). Composed by Nathaniel Gow (1763-1831), perhaps for a sister or relation of Francis Sitwell, for whom Gow also composed a strathspey (see “Master F. Sitwell”).
