MOLLY BAWN [3]. AKA and see "Fairhaired Mary," "Finbarr Dwyer's (2)." Irish, Reel. A Dorian. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. Fiddler Paddy Canny has recorded the tune under this title. The melody is a variant of O'Carolan's old composition "Fairhaired Mary." Closely related to "Molly Bawn's (2)", but the first strain in Breatnach's setting (from Mary Bergin) is different enough to warrant a variant.
