MON COEUR T'APPELLE. Cajun, Waltz. USA, Louisiana. A version of "J'ai passe devant ta porte," "which expressed grief at the unexpected death of a loved one...A much loved waltz (that) is an essential part of many Cajun musicians' repertoires" (Broven, 1983, p. 18).
The waltz/song was recorded in Atlanta in 1929 for OKeh Records by accordion player Joseph Falcon (1900-1965) and his wife, Cleoma Breaux (1906-1941).
