PHILLIBELULA ALL THE WAY. English, Schottische or Hornpipe. D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AAB.

The tune with the odd title was collected from fiddler George Jeff (Titchmarsh, Northamptonshire) by Sybil Clark. It is often used to accompany the dance called the Nottingham Swing, along with other tunes also played for it: "Nae Luck Aboot the Hoose," "Keel Row (The)" and "Kafoozalum." The title is probably a corruption of the botanical name Filipendula Ulmaria [1], or Meadowsweet.
