QUEEN'S MARRIAGE, THE. AKA and see "Orange and Blue (2)," "Hot Punch." Canadian, Jig. Canada, Prince Edward Island. G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AB. Elizabeth II (b. 1926) married Phillip, Duke of Edinburgh, in 1947 when she was still a Princess (her coronation was in 1953), so the title may refer to Victoria I (who married Prince Albert in 1840, three years after she became Queen). The first half also is shared with the French Canadian tune "Little Judique Reel."
