ROSE LEA. English, Polka (2/4 time). England, Northumberland. G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABBCC. The tune was attributed by Northumbrian concertina player Billy Pigg to Robert Whinham (1814-1893), a musician, teacher, composer, dancing master and fiddler originally from Morpeth, Northumberland. No written source has been found to corroborate this.
