SONNY REARDON'S. AKA and see "Dan O'Leary's (3)," "Jim Reardon's," "Tom Billy's Polka." Irish, Polka (2/4 time). A Mixolydian. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. Jimmy Doyle and Dan O'Leary recorded the polka in 1977 as the first in a set of polkas called "Blue Ribbon Polkas". Sliabh Luachra accordion player Johnny O'Leary recorded the polka in 1995, calling it "Tom Billy's." The title "Sonny Reardon's" comes from the 1997 recording by the band Patrick Street.
