SPOKANE WALTZ. American, Waltz (3/4 time). USA, Missouri. C Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AA’BB’. Source Wood had no name for the waltz, learned from his uncle Jess Essary, an early musical influence. Essary eventually moved to Spokane, Washington, and Wood named the tune in honor of the event.
