THOMAS MARSDEN'S HORNPIPE. English, "Old" or Triple Hornpipe (3/2 time). Bb Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). ABCDEFG. Thomas Marsden produced one surviving collection of tunes consisting primarily of jigs and triple hornpipes. It was printed in London by Henry Playford and sold from his shop for a shilling. Unfortunately, nothing is known about Marsden.
