WHITEWATER JIG. Canadian, American; Jig. USA, northern New York. A Major ('A' part) & D Major ('B' part). Standard tuning (fiddle). AA'BB'. The tune was composed by Canadian fiddler Bob Scott (1912-), who lead the band Bob Scott and the Canadian Pioneers. They were popular in the Toronto area in the mid-20th century.

Source for notated version: learned by fiddler Vic Kibler (Hamilton County, N.Y.) from "local country musician and fiddler Jimmy Hamblin, of Fort Ann, who has recorded it" [Bohrer].
