BAD HAIR. American, Jig. G Major. Standard. AABB. Composed by Antrim, New Hampshire, fiddler Rodney Miller, who told Susan Songer (Portland Collection) that he was inspired after hearing his five year old daughter Elvie spontaneously comment upon seeing a mannequin with a spiked and frazzled coif, "That one has Bad Hair!".

Printed source: Songer (Portland Collection), 1997; pg. 22.

Recorded source: Rodney Miller Band - "Greasy Coat."
