"Black and White Rag" is a 1908 ragtime composition by George Botsford (1874-1949), a Midwesterner who moved to Tin Pan Alley and had a long career as a composer in various forms of music. His rag The first was first recorded by Albert Benzler, on a U-S Everlasting Cylinder 380, c. 1909.
