BUNDORAN HIGHLAND, THE. AKA and see "Lord Moira," "Loudon's/Louden's Bonnie Woods (and Braes)," "Louden's Bonnie Braes." Irish, Highland. Ireland, County Donegal. Popular in southern Donegal, particularly from the playing of Paddy Kelly. Donegal fiddler Danny O'Donnell recorded the tune in the 78 RPM era, second in a set of three Highlands (with "Polly Put the Kettle On (1)" and "Niel Gow's Wife (1)"). He called the set "The Thistle and Shamrock." See also the related "Knocktoran Fair," a fling.
