BURN'S CLUB REEL, THE. Scottish, Reel. D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AB. Composed by John Hall (c. 1788-1862), who taught dancing in Ayr [Alburger]. The tune appears in the McNaughton manuscript, a collection compiled by "John Fergusson, Schoolmaster, Kirkpatrick" (d. 1829).
