CONCERT HORNPIPE, THE. AKA and see "Coutt's Concert Hornpipe." Scottish (originally), Irish; Hornpipe. F Major ('A' part) & D Minor ('B' part) {Kerr, Craig}: B Flat Major & G Minor (O'Malley). Standard tuning (fiddle). AA'BB'. Accordion player Billy McElligott made an old recording of this tune. He, along with P.J. Conlon, Joe Flanagan and Tom Carmody, dominated accordion playing in the Irish dance hall scene of New York in the 1920s and 1930s.
