Copperbeech
COPPERBEECH. Scottish, Reel. E Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AAB. Composed by the great Scots fiddler-composer J. Scott Skinner (1843-1927). The Copper Beech is a favorite ornamental tree. Queen Victoria planted copper beech trees during her visit to Drummond Castle in 1842 in commemoration of her stay (the castle is famous for its magnificent Italianate parterre gardens, first laid out in the early 17th century).
