X:1 T:Gait N:The title (if that's what it is) is somewhat indistinct. It could be "goit" or "gait". N:Homan also did not capitalize the first letter, so the word may not be meant as N:a title, but rather some kind of direction. The tune follows "Old Dad" in the ms., N:and perhaps they were played as a medley, with "goit" meaning 'go to it' (next).
