Reel of Barm: Annotations

T:Reel of Barm
S:Sent in 1893 to A.W. Johnston. "Taken down by by the late
S:Lady Burroughs from the late Colonel David Balfour some
S:years before that.
H:Mrs. Balfour said that "the Reel of Barm was used as the
H:winding up of the evening. There is not the least melody in
H:it, but I understood it began with one couple and went on
H:till everyone in the room was on the floor."
