PEGGY REILLY. The reel appears in Book 2 of County Leitrim piper and fiddler Stephen Grier's (c. 1824-1894) music manuscript collection, complied in the early 1880's. The first strain is cognate with the "Because He was a Bonny Lad" family of tunes.
