Martin, a WWI veteran, had a repertory that N:consisted of “Down East”, Acadian, Irish, American and French-Canadian tunes. N:Martin called the tune "Coleman's Reel" identifying "Mike Coleman", Irish, as the N:source for the tune, also linking him to the Henry Ford contests as winner N: of the “$10,000” fiddle as a prize.
